The Kingston in Focus provides an overview of the history of the city through visiting key locations. The itinerary is below. Please note the following:
- The field trip departs from the Jamaica Conference Centre.
- The deadline for payment is May 27, 2026.
- Prices are quoted in USD.
- To access the student discount, please use the coupon code ACHSTUDENT2026. Note this will be cross checked with the ACH list of students registered for the conference. If there is a discrepancy, you may be required to share a picture of your ID or show your ID on the day of the tour. If you unable to verify your student status, you will be required to pay the full cost.
- The child price is only applicable for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Persons aged 13 and up pay the adult price. Children aged 3 and below are free.
- Prices include entry fees, guide, transportation, and a meal at Gloria's.
- Participants are encouraged to carry/wear sunblock/sunscreen, water, hat/cap for shade.
- There is the possibility of rain in the afternoon. The trip will proceed regardless of weather, and participants are encouraged to check the forecast and wear the appropriate clothing to manage both sun and rain.
- There is a minimum required for the field trip to take place. If the minimum is not arrived at by May 27, participants will be given the option to participate in the Port Royal field trip. If the minimum is not arrived at and participants choose not to transfer to the Port Royal field trip, they will be refunded their payment in exactly the same way that the payment was made.
