Seeking Freelance Tour Guides for Kingston and Ocho Rios
Are you passionate about Jamaican history and culture? Do you love meeting new people? Are you known for your diplomacy and excellent people skills? Then you would be an excellent addition to our team.
As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for leading visitors on guided tours, providing information about the local area, landmarks, and points of interest. You will ensure that visitors have an enjoyable and informative experience, delivering high-quality customer service and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of Kingston or Ocho Rios and their cultural attractions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to adapt to different audiences and tailor information accordingly
- Knowledge of Jamaican history and culture
- Previous experience in tourism or hospitality is a plus
- Working proficiency in a language other than English is a plus
